BY-S18 Ride-On Sweeper in Factory Yard Cleaning Operations
Baiyi’s BY-S18 electric ride-on sweeper was recently demonstrated in outdoor cleaning operations at the company’s production facility. The field images show the compact machine sweeping along factory-side parking bays, curb edges, and access lanes—areas where dust, leaves, small stones, and everyday debris can accumulate quickly.
For factories, industrial parks, residential communities, campuses, and municipal maintenance teams, an effective ride-on sweeper must do more than cover open ground quickly. It needs to work close to curbs, maneuver around parked vehicles and site infrastructure, control dust, and remain practical for repeated daily routes. The BY-S18 is designed around these operational requirements.
A Ride-On Floor Sweeper for Outdoor and Mixed-Surface Cleaning
The BY-S18 is an electric ride-on floor sweeper built for asphalt, concrete, gravel, and rough stone surfaces—ground conditions that are not always suitable for floor scrubbers. With a compact structure and a semi-enclosed operator canopy, it is suited to outdoor factory yards, sidewalks, secondary roads, parking zones, back streets, residential properties, and university campuses.
The unit uses one main brush and four side brushes. This five-brush configuration helps guide debris from the edges of the cleaning path toward the central collection area, supporting more complete cleaning along curb lines and around parking-space markings. In the field images, the front side brushes are positioned to clean close to the building-side curb and painted parking boundaries.

Wide Coverage with Practical Daily Runtime
The BY-S18 has a 1,300 mm sweeping width and a rated working efficiency of more than 13,000 m²/h. Its 48V / 120Ah battery supports approximately 5–6 hours of operating time, enabling one operator to maintain long cleaning routes across a facility without relying on fuel-powered equipment.
A 200 L hopper provides space for leaves, cigarette butts, fine dust, small stones, and other common outdoor waste. The 180 L water tank supports the integrated dust-suppression system, while each side brush is fitted with a spray function to help reduce dust during sweeping. For sites near workshops, pedestrian areas, or parked equipment, this controlled approach can help improve the cleaning experience and reduce visible secondary dust.
Maneuverability Where Cleaning Routes Are Not Wide Open
Real cleaning routes rarely consist only of large, empty surfaces. Factory lanes may include parked vehicles, loading areas, drainage channels, curbs, safety markings, and narrow passages between buildings. The BY-S18 addresses this reality with a 1,500 mm turning radius and a compact overall size of 2,300 × 2,000 × 1,950 mm.
The machine’s maximum gradeability is rated at 20%, allowing it to work across common ramps and sloped site areas. Its maximum working speed is up to 8 km/h, while its 1,500W drive motor provides electric traction for routine outdoor maintenance. A combination of electromagnetic braking, mechanical braking, anti-rollback protection, and slope speed reduction supports safer operation on varying site conditions.

Designed for Daily Maintenance
A productive ride-on sweeping machine must also be straightforward to operate and maintain. The BY-S18 uses one-button controls for key functions, including sweeping, dust suppression, lighting, and forward/reverse movement. The carbon-steel frame is treated with an electrophoretic coating for added corrosion resistance, while the drawer-type hopper is designed for convenient waste disposal.
The sweeper also includes a tool-free filter replacement arrangement and a one-touch electric dust-shaking function. These details support faster daily maintenance and help operators keep the machine ready for the next cleaning shift.
A Practical Rider Sweeper for Multiple Applications
The BY-S18 is positioned as a flexible rider floor sweeper for facilities that need an electric solution for regular outdoor and mixed-surface cleaning. It can be used in:
- Factory yards, workshop surroundings, and parking areas
- Industrial parks and logistics facilities
- Community roads and property-management areas
- Sidewalks, secondary roads, and back streets
- University campuses, parks, and public spaces
The on-site images demonstrate how a ride-on brush sweeper can fit into a real factory maintenance routine: operating beside a building, following marked parking areas, and cleaning around curb edges without interfering with normal site circulation.
