Its compact body and approximately 6-meter minimum turning radius support flexible operation in narrow urban environments.

The BY-CS60 is designed as a multifunctional electric sweeping machine, combining surface sweeping, intensive road washing, curb-face cleaning, wastewater recovery, high-pressure rinsing, and handheld spray-gun operation. This allows operators to switch between routine sweeping and targeted cleaning according to the condition of the road surface.

Its 2.3-meter cleaning width and rated cleaning efficiency of up to 20,000 m²/h make it suitable for continuous maintenance across sidewalks, auxiliary roads, back streets, campuses, parks, and property estates. The 1,100-liter waste bin and 1,500-liter clean-water tank help extend the working cycle before unloading or refilling is required.

Wet Sweeping for Dust-Free Operation

One of the key differences between the BY-CS60 and a traditional dry battery road sweeper is its wet cleaning approach. Water is used during sweeping and washing to help suppress dust at the source, while collected waste liquid is recovered by the vehicle. This supports cleaner operation in areas where airborne dust and secondary pollution are major concerns.

The BY-CS60 also provides two operating pressure modes. High-pressure operation can be used for intensive washing and stubborn road dirt, while low-pressure operation is suitable for regular maintenance and can help conserve battery power. According to the product documentation, one full clean-water tank can support up to 40 minutes of high-pressure operation or up to 70 minutes of low-pressure operation.

Powered by a lithium iron phosphate battery system and a 7.5 kW AC asynchronous drive motor, the BY-CS60 provides a quieter, cleaner alternative to conventional fuel-powered equipment. Its electric drive system produces no tailpipe emissions during operation, making it a suitable zero-emission road sweeper for urban areas, campuses, residential communities, and other noise-sensitive environments.

The vehicle supports fast and slow charging options and provides approximately 3–4 hours of continuous operation, depending on working conditions and configuration. A programmable control system supports efficient operation, while optional connected management functions can monitor vehicle location, operating time, performance, and power output.

High-Pressure Cleaning for Difficult Areas

In addition to its sweeping and washing functions, the BY-CS60 includes a high-pressure cleaning system with a maximum flushing pressure of 20 MPa. A roof-mounted robotic arm and retractable hose reel connect to a handheld high-pressure spray gun, allowing operators to clean areas that are difficult to reach with the main sweeping system.

The front of the vehicle can also perform dual-side flushing and angled curb cleaning. A rear suction tube supports dust vacuuming and refuse collection, helping the vehicle handle localized cleaning tasks around parked vehicles, curbs, walls, road edges, and other obstructed areas.

The BY-CS60 is built on a riveted heavy-duty frame treated with electrophoretic anti-rust protection. Its 360-degree high-definition camera system improves visibility around the vehicle, while the automatic brush obstacle-avoidance and reset functions help protect the sweeping mechanism during operation.

For operators, the vehicle features an enclosed cabin with integrated heating and cooling air conditioning, a high-definition dashboard, electronic power steering, and vacuum-assisted hydraulic brakes. These features support more comfortable and stable operation during long cleaning shifts and changing weather conditions.
