Baiyi Showcased Lightweight New Energy Sanitation Vehicles at China Sanitation Expo 2024

In November 2024, Shandong Baiyi Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.​ participated in the 2024 Annual Conference of the China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association and the 2024 China Sanitation Expo in Beijing. As a manufacturer focused on lightweight new energy sanitation vehicles, Baiyi presented several new models covering road washing and sweeping, road maintenance, and garbage transfer applications, highlighting its ongoing development in compact electric sanitation equipment.

At the exhibition, Baiyi’s booth attracted attention from visitors, industry professionals, and potential partners interested in practical, road-legal, and application-oriented sanitation vehicles. The company used the event to present not only individual products, but also its broader approach to lightweight electric sanitation solutions for municipal, community, campus, and property management scenarios.

Among the key products on display were the BY-CS4500, BY-S2700, and BY-S1000 new energy street sweeper-washer models. These vehicles are designed to upgrade traditional dry sweeping into integrated washing and sweeping operations. Combining road sweeping, high-pressure washing, curb cleaning, sewage recovery, and surface rinsing, they are well suited for roads and working areas where large sanitation vehicles are less practical. Their application scenarios include urban streets, rural roads, back lanes, airports, universities, industrial parks, and residential properties.

The BY-S2700 stood out for its 90-degree rotating mechanical arm, which allows high-pressure cleaning across obstacles and helps solve difficult cleaning problems in areas such as roadside parking spaces and edge zones. The compact BY-S1000 was another highlight, with a vehicle width of only 1.1 meters, making it suitable for narrow streets and confined working environments. Compared with traditional road sweepers, it offers higher cleaning efficiency, better cleaning results, and reduced dust during operation.

Baiyi also presented its new energy road maintenance vehicle BY-C1000, a compact and flexible model developed for fast washing and maintenance work on sidewalks, auxiliary roads, and curbstones. This vehicle is designed for multi-function washing operations, including sidewalk cleaning, urban surface rinsing, bus stop washing, public facility cleaning, public restroom washing, waste bin cleaning, and removal of stains from paved surfaces. With its lightweight structure and quick transfer capability, the BY-C1000 can work together with compact sweepers to improve cleaning efficiency in pedestrian and side-road environments.

In the garbage transfer segment, Baiyi exhibited several compact new energy garbage collection vehicles, including the BY-LT1000 enclosed bin garbage truck, BY-LC1000 self-loading garbage truck, BY-LF1000 sorting garbage transport vehicle, and BY-L30 side-loading garbage truck. Built on new energy chassis platforms, these models are designed for small-scale waste transfer operations in schools, hospitals, city streets, scenic areas, property management projects, and narrow urban lanes. Their compact size, simple operating mode, and driver-friendly configuration help improve efficiency in daily garbage transfer tasks.

A key feature emphasized during the exhibition was that several of these models are designed as road-legal vehicles that can be officially registered, which provides an important operational advantage compared with conventional low-speed electric garbage carts that often face access restrictions. This makes Baiyi’s lightweight sanitation vehicles more practical for real municipal and commercial service environments where road access and compliance matter.

Through its participation in the 2024 China Sanitation Expo, Baiyi further demonstrated its focus on the development of compact, efficient, and environmentally friendly sanitation vehicles.
