How to Drive an Electric Sweeper? Quick Operation Guide
Electric sweepers are widely used in parks, schools, pedestrian streets, and factories. Common types include three-wheel ride-on, four-wheel ride-on, and walk-behind models. While models vary, the basic driving steps are similar.
Pre-Operation Checklist:
-
Check the machine for any visible damage;
-
Ensure the dustbin hooks are secure, and bolts, brakes, and indicator lights are functioning properly;
-
Fill the water tank and make sure the battery voltage is above 42V—charge if needed;
-
Check that side brushes are clean and rotate freely;
-
Avoid bumps or obstacles—raise the main brush if needed to prevent damage.
Operating Steps:
-
Turn the key switch clockwise to power on the machine;
-
Set the gear to “Drive” and release the handbrake;
-
Press the accelerator pedal to move forward;
-
Once in the work area, activate the main brush, side brush, vacuum, and spray functions;
-
If large debris is encountered, press the front squeegee lift pedal to pass over it;
-
For high-pressure washing, connect the spray gun and turn on the pressure switch.
Waste Disposal:
-
After cleaning, stop the vehicle and turn off all functions;
-
Open the rear compartment and remove the inner trash bin;
-
Empty the bin into a designated waste area;
-
Keep people clear of the dumping area to avoid accidents.
Safety Tips:
-
Never aim the high-pressure water gun at people;
-
Avoid running the brushes over raised surfaces or obstacles;
-
Regularly check battery level and brush wear to extend machine lifespan.
